Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat MUTLU

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat Mutlu was born in Istanbul in 1977.He took his Medical Education from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine between 1995-2001.
In 1999, he carried out works at the Walther Cancer Institute in the United States of America on a project which included Gene and Cancer research.

He started his specialty education at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 2001. In Austria, he participated in fellowship program on child and adult hip disorders with Prof. Reinhard Graf in 2004. He became an "Specialist" in 2006. His specialist dissertation was "Ganz Osteotomy in Young Adult Patients" under the tutelage of Prof. Dr. Remzi Tözün administration

In 2006, he worked as an Orthopedic and Traumatologist in Erzincan State Hospital for about 2 years and, in the meantime he operated over 1000. He worked in Istanbul Bakırköy Acıbadem Hospital between 2007-2009. Later he worked as a specialist of orthopedics and traumatology for 3 years in the group of Medipol hospitals.

Between the years of 2013-2016, while he continue to his academic life at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Education and Research Hospital and Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Education and Research Hospital, he received his title of Associate Prof. in 2016.

Having more than 50 research articles and compilations in many journals both in Turkey and abroad, Assoc. Dr. Serhat Mutlu focuses on sports surgery, knee and hip calcifications and has advanced experience in medical treatment and prosthetic surgery.

He is married and has a daughter. He has good knowledge of English.
